Tavelyn James Foundation EMBRACE Mentorship Program

Educating Myself For Better Resource Awareness and Community Empowerment

What is EMBRACE?

EMBRACE is a Mentorship Program established to allow inner city youth the resources for education, life skills, career development, social development and community support. This will aid in opportunities for leadership, engagement, educational development and networking experiences. Youth will be able to receive resources needed to develop skills applicable to education, school, community life, and life skills, in the form of workshops, activities and other developmental programs.

What does EMBRACE do?

EMBRACE is all about providing opportunities for youth who may not have them otherwise due to uncontrollable circumstances. Underprivileged youth are usually from inner cities and majority of the time those families can’t afford to pay for programs. That’s what we are here for. To allow youth the opportunity to expand their education, life skills, education goals and any other goals they would like to fulfill. We would like to be a home away from home. Involvement in EMBRACE provides a support network of people with similar experiences, opportunities for leadership and community growth, educational and life skill opportunities, social relief and financial support when available.
